CBSE, ICSE Class 10 Exams: These 5 tips will help you score well

July 27, 2020 by Steph Leave a Comment

All the state board examinations including CBSE and ICSE will start in the month of February every year. Both students and parents are quite anxious about the handy preparation strategies which might help students score well in the Class 10 exams. The exam preparation needs lots of attention as small mistakes will have an immense impact on the results. To crack the board exams, students need a combination of both hard work and technical skills.

Students are advised to first understand the scoring pattern of all the subjects and reference materials which are necessary for a better academic performance. ML Aggarwal Solutions for Class 10 Maths can be referred by the students of ICSE board while practising the textbook problems. The solutions are available in PDF format which can be downloaded by the students based on their requirements. Students can study anywhere and at any time without any limitations.

Ideate your mind and follow these tips to ace the Class 10 exam:

1. First compete with yourself

CBSE and ICSE board exams are not like any job interviews where seats are limited. Students must set a target everyday and work on them to achieve their goals. Be loyal to yourself and try to perform better than the previous day. By doing this, students can self analyse their performance which is important from the exam perspective.

2. Be well planned about each subject

Common mistake done by most of the students is, they dump everything on the study table and land up doing nothing substantial. Prepare a schedule and follow it, as it will reduce stress and fear about the exams in the minds of students. It improves confidence among students to solve complex problems effortlessly.

3. Gain knowledge of the syllabus

Do not refer to numerous study materials as it will mislead you most of the time. Students must first understand the syllabus of each subject based on the exam pattern and marks distribution. This will help them divide their time among the concepts based on the importance from the exam point of view.

4. Revision

Students are advised to complete studying all the subjects 30 days prior to the exam. This will provide them with sufficient time to revise all the concepts. No difficult topic should be left out for last minute preparation. It will only increase stress and affect the exam performance of the students.

5. Practise previous year question papers

To excel in exams, students should practice solving previous year question papers. This not only helps them understand potential problem types but also improves time management skills, which is essential for tasks like dividing a circle into 5 equal parts or completing the paper within the given time.

Hope these tips will help you perform well in the Class 10 exams. Mathematics is one of the subjects which requires lots of practise.
